Egypt - AR Proactive Maintenance Training
KP truly believes that Augmented and Virtual Reality are the new corner-stone for classroom and OJT training. It does not only deliver the training content in an intuitive manner, but it also guarantees a full understanding and absorption of the curriculum / process.
This project has helped fresh graduate maintenance engineers to carry out simple to a much more complex tasks while being trained on how to do it effectively without any errors; although it might be their first time to ever do it!
The system utilizes markers which are placed on the machinery and read through the camera of smart hand-hled devices to create overlays on the real machines explaining the procedure an engineer should follow, from regular routine system checks to disassembly and assembly of complex parts; it will even illustrate guiding videos on demand on how to carry out a specific task!
Supervisors and managers could also track the learning progress of each individuale via the time spent on each task and the accuracy of following each step.
We have also developed smart reports, which are stored on the local client cloud for daily, weekly or monthly progress reports!
